Kimberly Norfleet, co-owner of Solution Focused Counseling Group, brings over 20 years of experience in public education and counseling. Specializing in person-centered therapy, I prioritize tailoring sessions to your unique needs with an empathetic and relatable approach. My focus is on coaching you towards realistic goals, increased confidence, and a positive mindset in handling life’s challenges. I am driven by a commitment to quality service and compassionate treatment of various mental health issues.  Outside of the office, I enjoy outdoor walks, spending time with family and friends, and reading. 

Dr. Laura Suggs, LPC

Dr. Laura Suggs, LPC, co-owner of Solution Focused Counseling Group, brings over 30 years of experience in counseling and special education. With a Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University, she specializes in addressing mental health and behavioral challenges in individuals of all ages. Laura’s expertise spans mood disorders, ADHD, relationship issues, trauma, and more. She offers support to families, couples, children, and teens, employing a solution-focused approach to therapy.

Anjinai Hendriex, LPC

Anjinai Hendriex is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Virginia. She graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Human Services, and from Liberty University with a Master in Professional Counseling, as well as one in Marriage and Family Therapy. Anjinai thoroughly enjoys, love, and is passionate about what she does when it comes to working in the mental health field. She has always felt that it’s her calling to serve and work with others. Her passion was developed from her wanting to be the person that she wishes she had, at times, when she was younger.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her dogs Karmen and Koba, watch her favorite television shows, shop, as well as vacation.

Driven by a lifelong passion to serve and support others, I have dedicated the past 13 years to a career in the educational and mental health fields.  I am committed to being a reliable source of comfort and guidance, helping individuals navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals.

My therapy style focuses on creating an open, nonjudgmental, and safe space where individuals can bring their cares and concerns. Whether addressing emotional or behavioral issues, I strive to provide the support each person deserves. I enjoy the privilege of working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults, joining them on their life journeys and offering the assistance they need.

Hello! I am Aleshia, I earned my degrees from Capella University and Walden University, holding a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work. I joined the mental health field with a sincere desire to help others by connecting on a personal level and uncovering layers that promote healing. I employ various therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy.  On a personal note, I love decorating, reading, and taking long nature walks. Hello! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Norfolk State University.  I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.  In addition to providing outpatient therapy, I am a facilitator of a Homicide Grief Support Group in the city of Portsmouth.  My passion for the human services field has spanned a long career dedicated to helping others. I take pride in offering a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore their deepest emotions and mental health concerns.  On a personal note,  I love the beach and spending time with my family and my dog.  I consider myself a true sports mom.  I have spent years of pleasure engaging with my three sons and daughter in their various sports endeavors.

While working in previous clinical settings, I have been exposed to clients of all ages. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. Hello! I am Adriana. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Science from Northern Kentucky University in 2020 and obtained my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Kentucky University in 2024. Through my years in the mental health field, I have had the pleasure of working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities, and the adult population. My counseling experience spans over various mental health illnesses and life struggles such as mood disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, the schizophrenia spectrum, & relational/interpersonal struggles.

My therapeutic approach currently integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. I utilize motivational interviewing as a baseline and strongly believe in a collaborative approach between me and the client. As my client, I want you to always know that this is your journey to becoming the best version of yourself and I am here to walk with you along that path to what you think that looks like. When I am not helping clients, in my free time, I enjoy traveling, kayaking, painting, ziplining, and I love SpongeBob!

Currently, I am pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership at Grand Canyon University. With over eight years of experience in the mental health field and 17 years as an educator, I bring a unique blend of expertise and empathy to my work.

My mission is to provide a compassionate, supportive, and understanding space where individuals can navigate challenges, develop personalized coping strategies, and work toward meaningful improvements in their lives. I am committed to providing a safe, trusted space where clients can explore their life challenges and work toward stability. My background includes extensive practice with serving individuals diagnosed with Depression, ADHD, Anxiety, Substance Use, ODD, Adjustment and Bipolar Disorder. I approach therapy with empathy and understanding, recognizing the courage it takes for clients to seek support in their journey toward healing.

Daryl L. Farrow, Ph.D., NPT-C

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Hello, I am Dr. Daryl Farrow; a Clinical Psychologist. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and neuropsychology. I also obtained graduate degrees from Norfolk State University, a fellowship diploma in Clinical Psychology from Princeton University, and I hold certifications in neuroscience from Harvard University.
With training in a variety of therapeutic approaches—including REBT, ACT, and Psychodynamic therapy—I pride myself in bringing a flexible and culturally sensitive style to my work. My clinical interests include race-related trauma, anxiety and depression in African American men, college student mental health, athlete wellness, and complex psychological evaluations.
I am passionate about the connection between mental health, culture, and spirituality. I have a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Many of my clients have expressed their appreciation for my thoughtful presence, wide-ranging expertise, and genuine dedication to their growth and well-being. Outside of clinical work, I enjoy teaching and supporting the next generation of mental health professionals.
